This is the second small piece I decided to explore using the idea of working very small. As mentioned before, it forces you to make very critical decisions about your composition and color choices since there isn't a lot of room for "winging it" in a small format. I have always been interested in faces and portraits and chose to use myself as the subject matter in these small faces as a starting point. I also chose to work on board as I am still interested in exploring this option for collage.
