The Underwater Gardens series explores the abstract idea of lush vegetation deep in our oceans. The series not only suggests the idea of coral but of grasses and other forms of life in a non-traditional way. A lot of gel mediums were used to add texture and dark, rich colors were used to create bold, abstract forms.
