I enjoy changing directions for subject matters I paint by trying something different. I took a break from landscapes for a while and decided to work on an interior space. In this painting I wanted to not only use a lot of color to create an interesting composition but also, use some charcoal and oil pastels to actually "draw" into the painting to give it a looser feel.
